To support the achievement of Teaching Centre business objectives by overseeing the development and delivery of high quality annual and summer school adult learner courses which meet the needs of students and consolidates the British Council’s reputation as the leading provider of English language courses.

Main responsibilities 
-Teaching: Provide up to 400 hours of high quality teaching a year.
-Product Development:  Work with the TC Management and regional colleagues to agree on strategy for the development of the Adult Courses programme, in line with regional and global products offerings, that supports higher level business objectives, among others.
-Academic Management:  Manage the Adult Courses programme in line with current Teaching Quality Standards (TQS), among others.
-Marketing, Brand and Communications: provide accurate and up to date information about Adult Courses Programmes, among others.
-Other TC/Line Management Duties: attend Teaching Centre Management meetings and deputise for colleagues when required, among others.

Other important features or requirements of the job:
Weekend work and unsociable hours may be required. Working from partner premises may be required.

Contract Length: 2 years + possibility of 1 year extension

Full-time 37.5 hours - up to 10 hours per week
